Winnipeg Humane Society
The Winnipeg Humane Society opened their new 40,000 square foot home in 2007. With eight acres of land near Waverly Street and Hurst Way, the new facility is a monument to the caring people of Winnipeg who have opened their hearts to needy animals. The job doesn’t stop there. Thousands of animals will come through the new doors in future years and they will all need love, attention and care.
With your help, the sale of the book, Tell Me A Story About Pets, has raised needed capital and will be a lasting legacy to those who love their pets. The book is a great collection of local animal stories for animal lovers by animal lovers.
Due to the success of the first book, we continued the series and have now completed Tell Me A Story About Pets 2.
This new book will be on sale November, 2008 at the Tip To Tail Boutique at the Winnipeg Humane Society, book stores, veterinary clinics and pet stores throughout Winnipeg.
